Laingcroft Farm

    At Laingcroft Farm our chickens are true free ranging and foraging poultry, wandering pasture and woodland, eating fresh greens, bugs and other creepy crawlies.

    This varied natural diet, supplemented by whole scratch grains - corn, oats, barley, sunflower and millet - and calcium rich grits produces a lovely plump bird and wholesome flavorful  eggs in a natural rainbow of colors.

     Some farms practice force laying with the use of artificial lighting throughout the long winter nights.  Because we prefer to allow our chickens to rest over the winter, our fresh eggs are available only during the spring, summer and early autumn.  Please contact us for availability.
